Our School
Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District is a progressive school system whose aspiration is to become a model rural school in Pennsylvania.  Turkeyfoot is a small Appalachian school district.  The District has a population of approximately 3,000 residents relying on tourism and recreation from the Youghiogheny River Lake as its primary industry.  Turkeyfoot Valley School is in proximity to the town of Confluence which lies in the rolling valley formed by the Laurel Hill, Casselman, and Youghiogheny Rivers.  The school is comprised of one building housing the elementary, secondary and administrative offices.  About Three hundred thirty-three students are currently enrolled in grades K-12.
